One-on-one leadership coaching is an individualized process for improving leadership effectiveness and gaining recognition as a leader. We start with a full emotional intelligence assessment to identify your opportunities for growth and develop a plan for improvement. As we implement the plan, my coaching process uses your everyday experiences as the basis for conversation, self-reflection, and learning. As the client, you control what, when, and how you learn, choosing a focus and pace of learning that’s right for you.

On average, my clients report better relationships up and down their organization and less stress in 6 months. They substantially improve team focus and productivity within 3 months and are promoted within an average of 12 months.

How Coaching Works

Instead of traditional learning methods like memorization and testing, coaches ask questions to help you examine assumptions, envision new options, and see new solutions to everyday problems. These powerful questions help you self-reflect and gain self-awareness. In coaching conversations, I guide you toward your own pathway to emotional intelligence, authenticity, and leadership effectiveness.

As the client, you have the opportunity to try new ways of interacting and responding to situations using the tools and leadership tips that resonate with you. As your coach, I’ll help you achieve your goals and honor your commitments. Through this process, you’ll start to see through your assumptions, build new skills, discover new options, and increase your own and your team’s productivity.

My Coaching Process

My coaching process follows three phases:

  1. ASSESSMENT: I use interviews and quantitative assessments to identify: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? What’s holding you back?
  2. PLAN DEVELOPMENT: Together we’ll develop a coaching plan with the tools and skills you need to reach your goals. We’ll identify strategic priorities, set measurable goals, create action steps, and determine a timeline.
  3. IMPLEMENTATION: In coaching conversations, we’ll examine attitudes, emotions, and assumptions that hold you back at work. As you develop clearer value systems and more emotional intelligence, you’ll discover how to build trust and respect through authentic relationships that will be the basis for improving performance.
