Flash Leadership Coaching (One-Off Sessions)

Sometimes you don’t need ongoing coaching.
You need space to think clearly about one real leadership challenge—with someone who understands senior roles, tradeoffs, and human dynamics.

Flash leadership coaching is a focused, one-off coaching session designed to help senior leaders think clearly about a real leadership challenge.

In this session, you’ll:

  • clarify what’s really happening
  • test your assumptions
  • identify a next step you can act on

What You Can Expect in a 30-Minute Session

Please arrive with a specific leadership challenge. We’ll start with your description of the situation.

I’ll ask targeted questions to clarify what’s going on and surface the underlying dynamics that may not be obvious in the moment.

From there, I’ll coach you toward clarity and insight—using questions that help you reflect, sharpen your judgment, and identify changes that will make a meaningful difference in your leadership effectiveness right now.

How Flash Coaching Is Different From Ongoing Leadership Coaching

This is not ongoing coaching and not advice-giving.

Ongoing leadership coaching is designed to support leaders through a broader inflection point—such as a promotion, a shift in responsibility, increased visibility, or more complex decision making over time.

Flash leadership coaching is short-term leadership coaching designed to move you forward today. The purpose is to gain clarity on one issue and identify a constructive next step that increases your effectiveness as a leader.

Sessions are limited to one per person per quarter.

If you want a short, high-focus conversation to help you make sound judgments in the moment, this executive coaching session is for you.

FAQs for Flash Coaching

Is flash leadership coaching right for senior leaders?

Yes. Flash leadership coaching is designed specifically for experienced and senior leaders who are already performing well but need clarity on a specific challenge. It’s most useful when the stakes are real, time is limited, and you want a focused, thoughtful conversation—not advice or generic leadership tips.

What kinds of leadership issues work best for a flash coaching session?

Flash leadership coaching works best for discrete, real-time issues, such as:

  • preparing for a high-stakes conversation or decision
  • navigating tension with a peer or direct report
  • clarifying next steps at a leadership inflection point
  • pressure-testing your judgment before acting

If your challenge is broader or ongoing, one-on-one leadership coaching may be a better fit.

How is this different from ongoing leadership coaching?

Flash leadership coaching is a one-off session focused on a single issue. Ongoing leadership coaching supports leaders through longer-term transitions—such as promotions, expanded scope, or sustained behavior change over time. Flash coaching is about clarity now; ongoing coaching is about development over time.

Will you give me advice or tell me what to do?

No. Instead of giving advice, I’ll ask focused questions that will help you clarify your understanding and find the underlying issues that may not be obvious in the moment. The session is designed to help you think more clearly, examine assumptions, and arrive at your own sound judgment. The goal is insight, not instruction.

Can I book more than one flash leadership coaching session?

To keep the work focused and accessible, flash leadership coaching is limited to one session per person per quarter. If you find the session valuable and want deeper support, we can explore ongoing leadership coaching as a next step.
